I have used a number of printed sources along with many web sites and the invaluable assistance of many users of the web site.
I should also note the great contribution of the Google Book Search project.
Thanks to their scanning of fairly obscure books, researchers (like me) now have easy access to books which would otherwise be almost impossible to locate.
